Rise Band ´n Show

Authentic R and B, soul and Motown as it was meant to be played.  Led by experienced band leader Ernest Bennett on trumpet,  The Rise Band is truly a show in the Motor City tradition.

Rise Band n Show is a 10 member R&B/Funk/Jazz/Motown ensemble that performs at weddings, conventions, and clubs. The word "Show" was added because of the male and female vocalists. Maria Wyatt has a beautiful contralto voice and lights  up the room with her charismatic stage presence. Tennyson Price sings the hits from the "50s" through the "90s". He is very interactive with the crowd and will motivate the dance floor every time with the dance moves of James Brown, Michael Jackson, Mc Hammer, Morris Day of the "Time".

The members of Riseband & Show are as follows: Mr. Ernest Bennett: Founder/Trumpet/Flugal Horn and some lead and background vocals, Mr. Johhny Haigler: Musical Director/ Bass Guitarist/ Background Vocals, Mr. Horace Brock: Keyboards/Clavinet/Organ, Mr. Ronald Cooper: Drums/Percussionist and some lead and background vocals, Mr. Marvin Wiggins: Tenor/ Alto Saxaphones, Mr. Kalil Brooks: Lead/Rhythm Guitar, Mr. Jerome Coleman: Lead/Rhythm Guitar, Mr. Joseph Farmer: Congas/Percussionist/Sound Engineer, Ms. Maria Wyatt: Lead and Backround Vocalist Mr. Tennyson Price: Lead/Background Vocalist/Choreographer,  Mrs. Ellen Bennett: Accountant and Wardrobe Coordinator.
