Hello Brooklyn

HELLO BROOKLYN is a 5-piece cover band from New York City that specializes in top 40 dance, hip hop and female pop songs, as well as an array of party songs and medleys.  The band maintains a diverse upbeat setlist in order to play any venue from private events and weddings to casinos and college towns.  The band also features 3 lead vocalists, allowing them to easily switch styles to fit any crowd and occasion.

"The best part about this band is that everyone has an original project that they are very passionate about.  We work so hard during the week that HELLO BROOKLYN offers us an opportunity to have some fun, relieve some stress and make some noise.  We support each other whole heartedly with our original music, and then use this platform to go out and play more shows and enjoy ourselves.  Nothing makes us happier than to see a room full of people singing and dancing along with every song we play.  We've been fortunate to find venues that have given us a shot and we work hard to fill their rooms."  Ray Ramos (bandleader)

Ray Ramos (vocals, keyboards, saxophone, turntables)
Started HELLO BROOKLYN in January 2011.  With just under 700 live performances to date, Ray began his music career over a decade ago in Philadelphia playing with a number of bands in venues throughout the east coast.  After a short stint in Washington DC, Ray moved to NYC in 2009 and began networking with musicians to form the band and start his original album.  His first solo and second overall album is in progress with songs to be released throughout 2012.  It is a collaborative album with musicians that Ramos has performed and produced with over the past decade.  He did release a group album in 2007 in DC.

Liz Regan (vocals)
Liz is a newcomer to the band having recently graduated from NYU.  She is a NYC native and currently fronts her original band The Goodnoise which released their first self-titled album in October 2011.

Kyle Lalone (vocals, guitar)
Kyle moved to Brooklyn in 2011 and joined the band.  He is a graduate from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.  He fronts an original funk/rock band called Sugar Mama that released their first self-titled album in 2010.

Rodrigo Bonelli (drums)
One of the founding members of the band, Rodrigo is also a graduate from the Berklee College of Music.  He is a Brazillian native and currently resides in Brooklyn.  When he is not teaching or performing (which he does just about every night), his passion is his Brazillian jazz ensemble "The Rodrigo Bonelli Group" which can be seen in jazz and latin bars and restaurants throughout the New York region.

Nathan You (vocals, bass)
Born and raised in Queens, Nathan is also a founding member of HELLO BROOKLYN.  Nathan performs in a number of groups from gospel bands to studio sessions.  Easily the nicest person in the band, Nathan is the glue that holds us together!
