What distinguishes you from other photographers?
We are a small group of independent photographers who share a photo - journalistic approach to wedding and other event photography. We will also take formal portraits and posed shots, but our emphasis is candid, action pictures that are contemporary and appealing.

Can you take black and white pictures?
Yes. At your request, we will include a roll or two of black and white pictures for no additional charge.

Can we review examples of your work?
Yes. In addition to the photo gallery on this site, you may see more of our work at our Dupont Circle studios. We are available by appointment on Monday through Friday, some week day evenings, and most weekend mornings.

Most photographers keep the negatives - why do you provide them?
We provide all the negatives or disc so that you can order pictures from any camera store or developing service you choose, any time you choose. You are not required to order pictures from us, now or in the future. Most of our clients like the flexibility, convenience, and economy offered by this aspect of our service.

What is the difference between medium format and 35 mm?
A medium format negative is approximately three times larger than a 35 mm negative. Medium format offers an advantage in some portraiture and large group photographs. The details in your prints will be sharper and more three dimensional. Superior enlargements can be rendered from this larger negative.

What does your $1500 package include?
We provide six hours of coverage, with additional hours available at $75 per half hour. You will receive a minimum of one hundred and fifty 5 X 7 prints, all the negatives or disc, and a photo album. Formal portraits and key pictures will be taken with a medium format camera, candid pictures with a 35 mm or digital camera

What does your price of $750 include?
We offer three hours of coverage, with additional hours available at $75 per half hour. You will receive a minimum of one hundred 5 X 7 prints, all the negatives or disc, and a photo album. These pictures will be taken using a high quality 35 mm or digital camera.

Can you provide digital photography?
Yes. While photos taken using medium format film produce better quality pictures, many corporate clients require digital photography for immediate website publication. Also, some clients prefer the convenience of digital pictures.
